It’s been quite a while since I stopped by. Thank you for continuing to subscribe to my blog. I appreciate the support, as I’m getting closer to 10 years of blogging.
There’s been so much happening! Now I’m coaching new authors one-on-one. I’m enjoying that experience so far. And…..I have another book coming out soon. Stay tuned for that one!
I am also a contributing author to an anthology for younger women. I’m not old (by a long-shot), but I’m not in my 20’s any more. I believe that I have some wisdom to share with the next generation so that they won’t make some of the same mistakes that I made. If you have a young lady in your life who may need a book of practical tips to guide her, visit HEREand pre-order her copy, along with her matching journal.
With various events popping up on my schedule, I’m inviting you to stay connected – and we could meet in person someplace !
I’m excited about what 2017 will bring. I hope you feel the same way too.
If you haven’t already heard, I want you to know that I’m hosting a Teleconference for individuals who desire to write (or have started to write) a book and need to know the steps for a successful writing/publishing experience.
I’ve had 4 such experiences! (My first book was published twice!)
I’m looking forward to hearing your questions. Be prepared to take notes, as I have A LOT of information to share.
My new book is HERE! My latest release is entitled, “The Power of Purpose: Living Your Destiny.” This new book serves as a manual; there are actual steps the reader can follow to begin their journey to purpose. I shared some of my personal story, as well as the stories of others (with their permission).
It’s a quick but powerful read. Get your copy today from Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
“The Power of Purpose – Living Your Destiny” has been in the works for some time now. I’m happy to say that it will be released in the Spring!
I am SO excited about this latest book, because I’ve shared practical tips from personal experience and shared experiences from the lives of others. Pastor Hart Ramsey, known for his timely #UPLIFT tweets and messages, wrote the Foreword! I am excited for the doors that will open for many who will read and apply the principles I’ve shared.
Here’s my first review!
“Michelle’s book was motivating, practical and spoke truth about life’s journey. Without pursuing purpose, one can amble through life, unfulfilled and unable to help others around you that should be blessed by the manifestation of your passion on the path towards your destiny. Don’t just wake up, live and die without pursuing what makes you passionate.” ~Nicole Cameron, MD

I had to make a tough decision in 2015 to walk away from my corporate position so I could spend time doing the things that I needed to do, and wanted to do. The timing wasn’t quite as I desired, but the change has opened up my eyes to so many new and exciting things! I’ve had amazing and fulfilling experiences since last summer that I would not have had if I was still working there.
As I was transitioning out, I was editing new authors’ books as a side hustle. I discovered that I enjoyed it immensely! The work can be tedious and time-consuming, but the outcome has placed satisfied smiles on several individuals’ faces, including mine. I have been blessed to meet some very interesting people who decided to write and share their hearts with the world.
As a published author working on my 3rd book, I want to encourage you to write. If you have had unique and interesting experiences, or if you have expertise on a particular topic, please consider sharing it with the world. Yes, a lot of people are writing now, and there’s a good reason for that. Writing gives readers insight into who you are, and what inspires and pushes you. Share that passion with your followers on social media in the form of a book! Many doors have opened for authors: speaking engagements, and interviews before large audiences! Even new positions/employment! If you take the time to write, please take the time (and spend the money!) to edit your writings. Editing refines your work and allows the reader to understand your message easily.
So, write! And when you’re ready to edit, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
