Just To Encourage You….

You may feel cornered, scared or without hope. You may feel ostracized or hated. You may even feel helpless and unable to handle your current circumstances. Regardless of all these feelings, I dare you to hold your head up, square your shoulders and stare at your situation directly in the face. Tell it that it won’t defeat or destroy you! Tell it that you are more than a conqueror, and greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world!

If you have to cry or get angry, do so – but don’t stop fighting! You are a winner! Tell yourself this every day even when it doesn’t feel or look like it.

Remember this: You are never alone. You don’t have to walk this journey by yourself. Allow God’s peace to overtake you. The enemy doesn’t fight anyone who isn’t a threat to his kingdom!

Announcement!!!!

Hi everyone,

For approximately one year I have been going through a leadership development process at my church which culminated today in catechism. Catechism is an event where our beliefs, thoughts, doctrinal concepts, etc. are challenged by current seasoned church leaders. We sat in the room in small groups of two or three and were asked over 30 questions each. This process takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

I am happy to say that I passed catechism TODAY and I am now preparing to give my initial sermon on Friday October 18! I will be an Associate Minister!

I am totally amazed by God. His ways totally surpass mine, and His plans are always different from anything I could have ever imagined!
